Treatment is intended to achieve a decrease in the frequency and intensity or pain distribution, improve range of motion, and increase endurance with fewer symptoms between treatments.
Rarely is a joint out of place. Rather, what happens is that a joint loses movement. This loss of movement causes degenerative changes in other joints that are compensating for restriction. Motion Palpation determines where (or if) there are movement restrictions in the spine.
Once a restricted joint is identified, the doctor works to mobilize the fixated areas, restoring function to these joints. To put a movement in a joint that is fixated, the doctor utilizes chiropractic manipulation or an adjustment to help restore normal function in a joint. Generally, this technique employs gentle pressure or a shallow thrust to restore optimal motion. An adjustment is sometimes accompanied by a pop or cracking noise, which results from the joint's release of nitrogen gas.
This manual treatment for musculoskeletal disorders helps remedy injuries such as muscle strains, rotator cuff tendonitis, tennis elbow, Achilles tendonitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Applied by hand using specific pressure and tension on the muscle, myofascial release is more aggressive than massage therapy. This technique works by trapping the affected tissue with the doctor's thumb or fingers and moving the tissue from its shortened position to an elongated point. This method softens and stretches the muscular adhesions, resulting in an increased range or motion, enhanced strength, and improved circulation to optimize the healing process.
Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique (N.A.E.T.) is a combination of allopathy, acupuncture, homeopathy, chiropractic, kinesiology, and nutrition. Patients are treated for food .intolerances, seasonal allergies, skin conditions, autism spectrum disorders, and fibromyalgia.
NAET® was discovered by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad in November of 1983. NAMBUDRIPAD Allergy Elimination Techniques, also known as NAET, are a non-invasive, drug free, natural solution to alleviate allergies of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing and treatment procedures from acupuncture/acupressure, allopathy, chiropractic, nutritional, and kinesiological disciplines of medicine.
One allergen is treated at a time. If you are not severely immune deficient, you may need just one treatment to desensitize one allergen. A person with mild to moderate number of allergies may take about 15-20 office visits to desensitize 15-20 food and environmental allergens.
Basic essential nutrients are treated during the first few visits. Chemicals, environmental allergens, vaccinations, immunizations, etc. are treated after completing about fifteen basic essential nutrients. NAET can successfully alleviate adverse reactions to egg, milk, peanuts, penicillin, aspirin, mushrooms, shellfish, latex, grass, ragweed, flowers, perfume, animal dander, animal epithelial, make-up, chemicals, cigarette smoke, pathogens, heat, cold, other environmental agents if treated appropriately following the correct NAET treatment protocol. It may take several office visits to desensitize a severe allergen.
NAET is available all over the world. The names of the trained practitioners have been listed on our website under the Find a Practitioner section. We ask that you browse the NAET website for more information on NAET and use our practitioner locator to find a NAET practitioner near you.
All NAET practitioners in the practitioner locator have been trained in NAET AND are in good standing. Please understand that these trained NAET practitioners are independent medical practitioners, some may be doing various treatments and procedures other than NAET also in their respective offices.
It is your job to find the right practitioner for your treatment. Please read the open letter by Dr. Nambudripad, to become well informed, before you make an appointment with a NAET practitioner.

This machine is essential to improving pliability (strength and flexibility) after pain reduction. Med Ex brings quantifiable progress to the treatment plan. Active Spinal Movement is allowed and LUMBAR MUSCLE ISOLATION loaded to toleration with progression overload. This allows for capacity to increase strength. Pelvic substitution is NOT permitted by restraining the pelvis to prevent a state of disuse and atrophyIsometric testing prevents injury and creates force to maximum threshold.
Clinical lifestyle recommendations, ergonomic changes, manual treatments, and functional exercises help patients return to their activities of daily living. Therapy begins by identifying faulty patterns of movement, often resulting from poor posture, muscular de-conditioning, dehydration, improper lifting mechanics, fitness training errors, or injury. In the early stages, subtle changes in movement or muscle activation can go unnoticed by the patient. However, over time, the increased stresses placed on the joints and surrounding soft tissues can produce pain in muscles or joints and/or loss in the normal range of motion.
To effectively treat these dysfunctions, which often affect patients' daily activities, doctors may offer joint manipulation coupled with a series of targeted exercises patients can do as homework. This comprehensive and consistent approach works to retrain muscles, restore joint function, and prevent recurring injuries and doctor visits. Additionally, doctors will equip patients with proper lifestyle techniques and movement mechanics. Effectiveness often depends on the patient's commitment to therapeutic exercise.
Proper nutrition is the foundation for good health. Obesity, acid reflux, leaky gut, heart disease, and diabetes are a few of the leading ailments in this country directly tied to more health problems and medications. Improved diets lead to less dependence on pills and lower risks for medication side effects.
Along with proper nutrition, the correct exercise protocol reduces exacerbations of structural deficits. Our staff can convert your treatment to a wellness program when your symptoms have been reduced and your range of motion is restored.
This is among the oldest healing practices in the world. As part of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points in the body. Acupuncture is an effective form of health care that has evolved into a complete and holistic medical system. This non-invasive technique helps millions of people get well and stay healthy.
"The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease." --Thomas Alva Edison
